Deceased Estates
The deceased estates division is headed by Lara Calteaux. After completing her articles under the litigation division Lara requested to focus solely in Estates. Having found a passion in Estates she realized the financial benefits that Estates bring to the firm and the potential that having its own dedicated division could bring.
Her determination to grow the division led to the firm being placed on Fast Track at the Master of the High Court and by establishing an important network inside the system, the work that is required to be done is completed timeously.
Having dealt with various estates, many in R10 million bracket, with complicated redistribution agreements, or having to be mediators in family feuds, Lara is confident that the firm is able to handle all Estates presented to it. She works closely with the Conveyancing department which allows the transfer of all Estate properties to be done in an efficient manner.
Property
The firm’s property division is managed by the sole Partner Roeleen Esra, who specializes in conveyancing and property development issues. She is well known for her work in the field of sectional titles and the department enjoys a reputation as one of the best in this specialized area of the legal profession.
Commercial, Litigation & Family Law
This division is managed by Ewald de Beer. The division deals with various aspects of law however it specializes in family and commercial law, all aspects of civil litigation as well as collections.
